Would you like to improve your emotional and physical well-being, strengthen your relationships, or increase your strategies for effectively dealing with stress, depression, anxiety, or challenging life situations?

Welcome to my website. I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing psychotherapy services in the Washington, DC area, and I am dedicated to assisting individuals, couples, and families in achieving their goals and learning more about themselves. I am warm, compassionate, accepting, and non-judgmental. I work collaboratively with clients to increase their sense of self-efficacy in coping with life's challenges. I encourage clients to explore and honor their own ideas, beliefs, experiences, and feelings, sharing mine when it seems appropriate and helpful.

I have been providing counseling and psychotherapy services for nine years. I have experience working with a diverse group of clients with respect to gender, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion/spirituality, age, ability, and presenting concerns.

I have several areas of special interest, including:

Relationship Difficulties

Stress Reduction

Trauma, especially unwanted sexual contact

Identity concerns, including sexual orientation and gender identity

Couples and Family Issues

Existential / Spiritual Concerns

Life problems - dissatisfaction with work, lack of meaning, life transitions, loss of a loved one, heartache, etc.

Depression and Anxiety

Personality Disorders

Please feel free to contact me at 571-235-4832 if you have questions about my practice or want to discuss anything further with me that might be helpful in making your decision.
